Siyi Song

Ph. D. Student

Siyi Song, M.A., is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication Studies. She is a recipient of the Summer 2025 TIPI fellowship. Her research interests center at examining how people engage with AI and politics on social media.

At TIPI, her work focuses on how AI shapes social media affordance, user’s perception, and behavior. Siyi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Master’s degree in Journalism and Communication in China.
