An Assessment of the Queens Public Library Hotspot Program

A Hotspot lending program was initiated in three New York system libraries starting with a pilot in 2014 and ending with a major program of loaning 10,000 hotspot devices in 2016-2017. The program was designed to ease Internet access for library patrons, and to test the utility of hotspot devices for the people who chose to use them. This particular report details the Quens Public Library Hotspot Program

The term ‘broadband’ refers to an advanced telecommunication service that developed from a need for greater amounts of information to be transmitted across the Internet. This pamphlet gives you all the information you need to be well informed about this type of communication
